Our Role and Travel Supplier Terms

GrammarVista.com USA is a travel consulting service. Our travel consultants research, recommend and book arrangements on your behalf as an intermediary between you and the companies that provide them. We do not own or operate any airline, hotel, cruise ship, tour or activity, and we don’t control how those companies deliver their services.

Each supplier’s terms apply to your booking, including non-refundable rates, payment deadlines, baggage rules and age, health or accessibility requirements, and they govern if they differ from anything on our website. Prices and Availability

Prices, fares and availability we quote, or that appear on this website, are estimates until the supplier confirms your booking. Until then, prices can rise, space can sell out, and taxes, port charges, resort fees and exchange rates can change. Some suppliers may also add fuel or other surcharges after booking, as their terms allow. A quote is not a reservation: your arrangements are secured only once any required payment is made and the supplier confirms them.

Sample Itineraries

Sample itineraries, such as the trip ideas on our homepage, are illustrative only, not packages with fixed prices, set inclusions or guaranteed availability. Hotels, routes, seasonal activities and travel times depend on your dates and what suppliers offer when you book, so your itinerary will be designed around you and may look quite different.

Travel Documents and Entry Requirements

Each traveler is responsible for carrying valid travel documents and meeting the entry, exit and transit rules of every country on their itinerary. Governments set these rules and can change them at short notice, so always confirm them with official sources.

• Passports. Some countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, and many require blank pages. Apply or renew early through the U.S. Department of State’s passport website (opens in a new tab).
• Visas and ETAs. Many destinations require a visa or an electronic travel authorization (ETA) before you board, even for short stays. Check each country’s requirements on travel.state.gov (opens in a new tab).
• REAL ID. For domestic flights, travelers 18 and older need a REAL ID–compliant license or another acceptable ID, such as a passport. See the TSA’s REAL ID page (opens in a new tab).
• Minors. Children traveling abroad with one parent, or without their parents, may need a signed consent letter. Requirements vary by country.

Names on bookings must match each traveler’s ID exactly. We are not responsible for denied boarding or entry, or for costs caused by missing, expired or incorrect documents.

Health and Safety

We are not medical professionals, and nothing we share about vaccines, medications or health conditions is medical advice. See your doctor or a travel health clinic at least a month before you leave, and review destination guidance on the CDC’s Travelers’ Health (opens in a new tab) site.

Check the U.S. Department of State’s travel advisories (opens in a new tab) for each country you plan to visit, and consider enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) (opens in a new tab) so the nearest U.S. embassy can reach you in an emergency. The decision to travel, and to choose activities that suit your health and abilities, is yours.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance for most trips, especially international travel, cruises and bookings with large non-refundable payments. Depending on the plan, it can cover trip cancellation and interruption, medical care abroad, emergency evacuation and lost baggage. Many U.S. health plans offer limited coverage abroad, and Medicare generally does not cover care outside the United States.

Coverage, exclusions and claims are decided by the insurer, so read the policy before you buy. If you decline coverage, you accept the financial risk of cancellations, medical costs and other losses.

How We Are Paid

GrammarVista.com USA may receive commissions or other compensation from travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators and travel insurers, when you book through us. Commissions are paid by the supplier and are generally part of the supplier’s price. Suppliers may also offer incentives, such as promotional bonuses or reduced-rate trips that let us experience hotels, ships and tours firsthand.

Compensation doesn’t decide what we recommend. We recommend what fits your priorities and budget, and we’ll tell you how we are compensated on your booking if you ask. When a planning fee applies, we explain it and what it covers before you commit.

Seller of Travel Laws

Several states, including California, Florida, Washington and Hawaii, regulate businesses that sell travel to their residents, for example by requiring registration and a trust account or bond for customer payments. Registration requirements vary by state and by how a business sells travel. Where a state seller of travel registration applies to us, we hold it and publish the registration number on this website and in your booking documents; where one does not yet apply, none is displayed. No Guarantees

Much of travel is outside anyone’s control. We can’t guarantee weather, wildlife sightings, on-time departures, visa approvals, rooms, views or upgrades a supplier hasn’t confirmed in writing, or your satisfaction with a supplier’s service. Descriptions of hotels, ships and tours rely partly on supplier and public information, and actual conditions may differ.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrammarVista.com USA is not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions or insolvency of any supplier or other third party, or for delays, cancellations, injury, loss or expense caused by events beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness or government action.
